pins and needles
during the last few weeks i keep getting pins and needles a lot more than often than usual, hmm. i don't know if it's because i've been sitting and kneeling more because i've been so busy 'revising', or what. it's a mystery! also kind of annoying haha. when i was about 5 and trying to describe pins and needles but didn't know what it was called, i said it was like fizzy lemonade. i wonder what it's called in other languages.

ok, it's like when you are kneeling for ages so your blood supply to your feet gets cut off and they go kind of numb, and then afterwards when you stand up and the blood rushes to your feet and it's sort of painful, that's pins and needles! lol i know that wasn't a very good description :)

they might call it that in some places but I have always been a bit "out of touch" I have to admit, since moving to Texas I have learned so many idioms that are just crazy! Here's one: Slicker than owl guts on a door knob. Why would owl guts be on a door knob? Only in Texas
